The 2004 Annual Oromo Convention

 

Thousands of Oromos from around the world will gather in the great city of Atlanta, Georgia, from July 24 to August 1, for this year's Annual Oromo Convention.  The Convention comprises a series of events including religious, community-based, cultural, political conferences as well as soccer tournament among teams from about a dozen cities in the U.S. and Canada.

Jimmy Carter Library and Museum

The Museum of the Jimmy Carter Library includes photographs and historical memorabilia from the Carter presidency (1976 - 1981). An exact replica of the Oval Office and gifts received by the Carters are also featured.
